Mia Cutler

I completed my 200hr. teacher training certification in 2012 with Geri Blier and Tom Quinn of Yogaview. I feel indebted to Geri and Tom for their knowledge, support, and patience and for introducing me to the benefits of daily meditation. Yoga makes me feel good. Mentally, physically, spiritually- I feel my best when I regularly practice yoga and that is why it is such a big part of my life.

I didn't get into yoga knowing that it would become so important to me. I am a tri-athlete and ultra-distance runner and believe that these activities compliment and inform my yoga practice. While practicing Yoga five years ago I found peace of mind, calmer ways of dealing with stress, and increased strength and flexibility. I’ve had Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 26 years. Yoga has helped ease the difficulties of living with RA, and I hope gives me compassion and acceptance for other people who have to work with other limitations. While my athletic background might be helpful to you if these are also your interests, I enjoy working with those who are new to yoga as well.

I am constantly inspired by teachers and enjoy continual study of all things ‘yoga’!! I structure my classes to be straight-forward, alignment-based and not too serious.
